AI assistants

Ask your AI about your WhatsApp inbox.

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or your code editor to Replio once. Then ask who is still waiting for an answer, have it summarize a conversation, draft a reply for your team, assign it to a colleague or add a saved reply. Drafts go to your approval queue; nothing reaches a customer unless you say yes.

Included in every plan and in the free trial. The business owner connects it.

What your assistant can do

Read

  • Open conversations, who is waiting for a reply and since when
  • Which 24-hour reply windows are about to close
  • Assignments, labels, internal notes and drafts waiting for approval
  • Saved replies, your Meta templates and their review status
  • Messages in and out, first-reply time, closed conversations

Read, draft and organize

  • Write a reply draft — your team edits and sends it from the panel
  • Assign conversations, add and remove labels
  • Mark conversations resolved or reopen them
  • Add internal notes and saved replies

Read, organize and send

  • Send one WhatsApp message to one customer of an existing conversation
  • Free text inside the 24-hour window, an approved template after it
  • Only after you say yes to that exact message in the chat
  • No bulk sending; at most 30 messages an hour per business

Try asking

  • “Who is waiting for an answer right now? Summarize each in one line.”
  • “Whose reply window closes in the next hour?”
  • “Draft a reply to the customer asking about their order. Keep it a draft.”
  • “Assign the refund conversations to Mert and label them "refund".”
  • “Add a saved reply with our delivery times.”
  • “How fast did we reply last week?”

Customer data stays off unless you turn it on

  • Message contents — what customers and your team wrote, notes and draft texts — are off by default. Without them the assistant sees who wrote when, not what.
  • Customers' phone numbers are masked by default (+90 532 *** ** 67); the assistant refers to conversations by an id.
  • You turn each on separately when you connect. What you allow goes to the assistant's provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google…) under their terms.
  • A connection reaches one business only — the one you chose — and never another business's conversations.

You stay in control

  • When you connect, you choose the business and one of three access levels; read is the default.
  • The assistant works as you: drafts, notes and messages carry your name in the panel.
  • A message to a customer needs the send level and your explicit yes in the chat; WhatsApp's 24-hour and template rules and opt-outs still apply.
  • Drafts wait in the panel's AI drafts queue until a person sends or rejects them.
  • Connecting numbers, submitting templates to Meta, broadcasts, billing and deleting stay in the panel.
  • Disconnect any time under AI assistants in the panel; the assistant loses access at once.

Set it up

Each assistant below signs in with your Replio account (OAuth): add the server address, sign in, choose the business and how much it may see and do. Menu names change between app versions; if a step looks different, look for “Connectors”, “MCP” or “custom server”.

Web and desktop app

ChatGPT

  1. Open Plugins and choose + → Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Replio and paste the server address.
  3. Choose OAuth as authentication, confirm the warning and create it.
  4. Install the plugin, sign in to Replio and choose the business and access.
  5. In a new chat type @Replio and ask. ChatGPT asks you before a tool that writes runs.

Available on paid ChatGPT plans; in Business and Enterprise an admin may need to allow custom servers.

claude.ai and the desktop app

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Replio and paste the server address.
  3. Choose Connect, sign in to Replio and choose the business and access.
  4. In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure Replio is on.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add the connector for the organisation first.

Terminal

Claude Code

  1. Run the command below.
  2. Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose replio and Authenticate.
  3. Sign in to Replio in the browser and choose the business and access.
claude mcp add --transport http replio https://replio.talivio.com/mcp

Editor

Cursor

  1. Open Cursor Settings → MCP and add a new server, or put the snippet below into ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
  2. Choose Connect next to replio and sign in to Replio.
  3. Ask in the Agent chat.
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "replio": {
            "url": "https://replio.talivio.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}

GitHub Copilot in VS Code

VS Code

  1. Run “MCP: Add Server…” from the Command Palette, choose HTTP and paste the server address, or add the snippet below to .vscode/mcp.json.
  2. Start the server when VS Code asks, then sign in to Replio.
  3. Use it in Copilot Chat in agent mode.
{
    "servers": {
        "replio": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://replio.talivio.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}

Terminal

Gemini CLI

  1. Run the command below.
  2. In Gemini CLI run /mcp auth replio and sign in to Replio.
gemini mcp add --transport http replio https://replio.talivio.com/mcp

OpenAI Codex CLI and IDE extension

Codex

  1. Run the first command to add Replio.
  2. Run the second to sign in to Replio in your browser.
codex mcp add replio --url https://replio.talivio.com/mcp
codex mcp login replio

With a key instead of a sign-in

Any other client

  1. In the panel open AI assistants (menu under your business name) and create an AI key: choose the access level, and whether it may see message contents and phone numbers.
  2. Send it as a header with the server address. For example in Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http replio https://replio.talivio.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer rpl_…"

A key acts as the owner who made it. Keep it secret and disconnect it on the same screen.

Or just ask your AI assistant.

Included in every plan and in the free trial. The business owner connects it.
